Aptos USDT Liquidity Hits $1.1 Billion Milestone Amid Stagnant APT Price

USDT supply on the Aptos blockchain has crossed $1.1 billion, according to TradingView, with Tether's stablecoin now representing roughly 79% of all stablecoin value on the network. The native APT token has not registered a corresponding move.

Supply and Flow

USDT on Aptos grew 18.6% over the past 30 days. The figure moves Aptos past the $1 billion threshold it cleared earlier this year and pushes it into a small tier of chains hosting meaningful USDT liquidity. Sub-second finality and low transaction fees remain the cited structural drivers. Every transaction burns APT, linking token supply to network activity at a mechanical level.

Price Disconnect

APT trades near its August 2026 all-time low of approximately $0.53, down from around $5.50 in October 2025. The chart has remained in consolidation through the latest milestone. Network activity has continued; token demand has not followed. The gap between on-chain stablecoin growth and native asset price action is the operative data point. Collateralization, attestation, and liquidity delta metrics on the chain side are expanding. Fiat-equivalent valuation of the underlying asset is contracting.

Systemic Read

USDT's footprint on Aptos confirms continued diversification of Tether's distribution across non-EVM chains. From a reserves and on-chain standpoint, the milestone is additive to total stablecoin float and irrelevant to peg stability. The APT price trajectory remains a separate variable, driven by token demand rather than settlement volume. If buyers continue to stay away, the $0.53 floor faces a test. If demand returns, the settlement layer is already in place.
